Hey guys, i'm a sophomore guy here, and i recently took 8 days off of running due to an injury and some sickness. Five days after coming back, my easy run pace has gone from 7:10 to about 8:00 and it feels very hard. Also, my 800m repeat average has gone from 2:35 to 2:50 and i can never get under 2:45.
One week does not seem long enough to impact my training by much, however, i feel like i haven't run in a month and the fifth day feels as bad as the first. What do guys think went wrong? And how can i get back into shape fast enough to break 10 for the 3200 by april or may?
