They fixed that issue on day 2. They had someone doing it on day 1 that had no experience what so ever.

So big/surprising performances?
Garcia Cassani for one, Geneseo is fairly young right now (their top runners in mile-5k were freshman, given the 3k and 5k times were slow. I think they need a bit more time to develop and hopefully their star freshmen/sophmores won't end up like the notorious (high school) class of 2011 recruiting class that has completely fallen apart by this point.
Zack Hess with an impressive double (I think he should have won the 5k as well).
Oneonta goes 1-3-5-8 in the 5k and then 2-3-4-7 in the 3k. Amazing that geneseo beat them so handily at XC SUNYACs (and actually almost lost to Cortland)
I definitely did not expect the mile to finish the way it did. Definitely a fun race to watch.
Also, how about that 4x4 with the Plattsburgh kid getting ran into?
Lol, Nick Marcantonio changed his profile pic on Facebook to him leading the 5k. He didn't seem so proud at SUNYACS when he finished 4th and then decided not to show up to the podium.

Why didn't the kid just run the 3k if he knew he didn't have a chance in the 5k?? It would've been a long shot, but he probs had a better chance at winning.
A better question is: How does a 3 time CC all-american always end up as an also-ran in the SUNYAC every year come track? What a strange phenomenon.

No i don't, especially since you could only see one corner of the track during the 5k. I think my description of a "live stream" was on par with what one would expect of the SUNYAC.
Maybe next year they will show the other corner of the track.
So you go from "no way in hell it will happen" to "what you would expect from the sunyac." Im confused

I won events back in the day at SUNYACs and didn't go to the podium, I don't see the big deal. Though he would have had an excuse if he had another event to run...
Maybe you should be a better facebook "friend" and not make fun of the guy. I doubt you ran faster this weekend than he did.

Sorry to offend you Brockport. I'm glad you agree that it could have been better.

You must be lying as it is really easy to know who has 4 AAs in the SUNYAC.
Garcia-Cassani with a 4:10.87, third in DIII. Good luck at nats.
