Is Bruce Jenner gay?

I know nothing about this but let's just say a man abused steroids for years. Thus his body shut down and quick making its own testosterone. Isn't the whole point of hormonal therapy when a man tries to switch his identity to that of a woman to suppress testosterone. Could this occur "naturally" in someone who had abused roids?

That's what I'm wondering. Sort of a reverse Krieger situation.

If you have a straight male with low T who views himself as a male, you have millions of older straight American men. They don't suddenly find themselves dressing in their wives clothing, as Jenner did back while training for the '76 games, according to his ex-wife.

If lesbians are attracted to women, then why do I always see them with butch women who look and act like men? Or maybe the don't "want" to be with women who look like men, there just aren't a lot of hot lesbian options.

A much more relevant question for this board is how many young girls here have disrupted their menstrual cycles by lowering their body fat and suppressing estrogen production?

I was also shocked at how incorrect the wikipedia article's source was,"According to Werner Franke and Brigitte Berendonk's 1991 book, Doping: From Research to Deceit, Krieger took almost 2,600 milligrams of steroids in 1986 alone—nearly 1,000 milligrams more than Ben Johnson took during the 1988 Summer Olympics."

Milligrams?! Where in the world did they come up with that dosage? Many professional bodybuilders take at 1000mg of test per WEEK. In fact, many consider 1000 mg a week to be the lowest effective dose after a first cycle. Some take twice that in combination with at least one other synthetic steroid, AND growth hormone.

Literally MILLIONS of men in this country have used ten times the amount milligrams cited in the article without a single side effect.

The typical HRT dose of testosterone for middle aged men is 100mg a week FOREVER.

If Bruce wasn't using 500mg a week for more than six weeks he wasn't really doping!

Hell, the entire UFC takes enough test to raise their levels as close as possible to the 6 to one epi ratio allowed in Nevada.

That 6 to one ratio is a complete joke but it might actually be a better model than the biological passport. Why not level the hormonal playing field? Establish a hard 4 to one ratio for men and let everyone dope to get there.

Letsrun is always about the triumph of hard work and dedication over talent, so why should genetic freaks be given a hormonal advantage?

Meanwhile the sport literally forces young girls to become less feminine because they can't compete with those who have lowered their body fat to the point their estrogen levels have been suppressed.

Not possible. If you look at photos of him 4 years later he is buffed. Now unless he was still shooting up, there is no way that steroid abuse in the mid 70's would affect him now. It could be the loss of testosterone that is making him more feminine. Anyway photos of him make me want to hit the gym for life...

To "lol, lol, lol...": I don't know of any evidence either, that steroid use changes sexual identity. However, I do believe it can shrink the penis a lot in males. I also read that some close to Bruce J. have known he has enjoyed dressing in female underwear and clothes for a long time - years?

What of we find out that 1 or 2 genes (out of thousands involved in gender) are effed up and making the Bruce Jenners of the world want to cut their dicks off?

Testicles shrink (typically temporarily) when exogenous testosterone or other anabolics tell the body to stop producing its own. The size of the penis does not change.

Human sexuality is a lot more complicated than high/low testosterone. Do a google search for "gay bear" ... lots of high testosterone guys there.My parent's had a gay couple living across the street from them. First, they lived in Alabama, second they were both "tough guys" in tough guy occupations. One did oil field/refinery work and the other was a shrimper. I went back to AL to help my parents clean up after a hurricane. One of the guys came over to help out - he was a hard core redneck, tough guy. He was running the chainsaw, barefooted, cut off blue jeans, shirtless, no gloves, no safety glasses, all while smoking a cigarette.
