Former runner (1:53 800m about ten years ago in college) who is slowly getting back into the game. I'm hoping to race the Carlsbad 5000 this year, and was looking on the best way to approach this task. I've been running 3-4x/week since late December, slowly building my miles and stamina up. I'm currently running about 38-40 minutes per session at an easy pace.
Any advice? Thanks!
