I'm not overly impressed. Gallagher was a 4:02/14:02 guy at Northeastern and in a year's time he's run 4:05. It is still early in the season and I would expect runners of this type to be running about these times in January. No indication of "juice" here

4:58 makes you a hobbyjogger everywhere, not just LRC (unless you are a girl).
Did you ever end up going sub 16, sub 2, sub 4:30? How did running play out for you after high school? I remember reading about your quest to hit those times many years ago.
Is "huge red flag" something you say when you don't really know what else to say?

The new coach, Ryan Van Hoy, also coached Eric Jenkins to 13:18 at Northeastern, and Isaac Presson at UNC. Young coach with an obvious upside.

That's an impressive resume' for a young guy.
What happened with the head coaching gig at UNC?

Yes, and everyone on LRC makes over $400,000 annually and has a schlong over 8" (except girls).

New Director of T&F came in and hired his own staff.

This guy should be in Home Room right now.
High School closed on the East Coast means sh!tty jokes on LRC today...
Vanhoy doesn't coach the distance runners.. Oneal does, haven't you seen any of the articles.
I'm a huge fan of Wes Gallagher, ran in the same league against him in high school and he dominated everyone. That said, he's running 9 seconds faster than his season opener last year. He always peaks at the right time and will be under 4 by the end of the season.
I only read the coaches bios, where O'Neal is credited for the tutelage of a long list of sprinters and jumpers, whereas Van Hoy "...coaches the distance runners". Of course, maybe OleMiss is trying to smokescreen the situation to keep LRC from learning all their secrets.
