Can someone list all of Bruce Bickford's PRs? I see a 27:37 10K, but nothing after that.

Who is the best guy ever at NE?
That would be Bruce Bickford. You know, the last American to rank #1 in the world in the 10,000 meters until Galen Rupp did it last year.
I thought this was a running website?

Yes it's a running website, not necessarily a historical running website. We follow the sport but back in 1985 I was 12 so didn't know Bickford went to NE..
Congrats. They've managed not to ruin a 13:17 transfer or a sub 4/8/14 transfer
What on earth has happened to Elkaim, never a factor on their XC teams as a 13:39 and three time sub 4 minute type, now he has run 4:09 and 14:20?

Bruce Bickford.

13:18 actually
And you're obviously an f'tard since you think it's easy to improve on someone running 13:18, the youngest sub 13:20 ever in the US.
Thanks, Rojo!
What about a 1/2 or full PR?

Oddly, everyone else here seems to know this.

Man. I was there. The announcer announced 8:55 at two miles. That's a 4:03 last mile folks. So Stinson blisters a 4:10 last mile and gets left. That was one serious last mile. They dropped a 3:58 miler (Geoghegan) and one of the best XC runners in the country like hot potatoes.
Dang that must have been something to watch. What the heck..how are these guys coming on like this! I got to hire some secret spy dudes, really love to get some skinny on their training! Jus kidding.....maybe ;})

Didn't say it would be easy to improve on his time. That he was the youngest to run such a time you would think means he has room to improve.
Leave the serious discussions for us wise ones, sonny.

Uhm, just some guy named Bruce Bickford, who ranked #1 in the world in the 10,000 in '85.
I might go with John Flora. He certainly ran excellent college times - x-c, indoor, outdoor IC4A champ 6 times.
Bruce had a wonderful career when he gave up the steeplechase.

Huh? Flora couldn't even carry Bick's water for him.

Bickford clearly had the better career. But at NE, Flora did fine.
http://www.trackandfieldnews.com/index.php/archivemenu/33-archive/445-ncaa-cross-country-championships-mens-results1975 X-C Championship
Flora; 41st, 29:41.2
Bickford; 165nd, 30:49.1
1976 X-C Championship
Bickford; 16th, 28:58.62
Flora; 21st, 29:09.29
20th Place was 29:07.2
1977 X-C Championship
Flora; 17th, 29:40.7
Bickford didn't compete???
1978 X-C Championship
Bickford; 29th, 30:15.0
Plus Flora ran 24:17 at Van Cortland Park
You can certainly make the point that Bruce's steeplechase consistency gives him the better NE career, just no need to put John down
8:55 likely the 3200 split, not the two-mile split. No one offers two-mile splits on metric tracks without good reason.
4:36 or so for the last 1800 meters probably implies a 3400m split of about 9:27 or 9:28 (32-33 seconds for the 200 from 3200 to 3400, a slight pick-up from the 67s they had averaged). So 4:03 or 4:04 for the last 1600, a 4:04 to 4:06 actual mile.
Also, Brad Schlapak was no slouch at Northeastern in the mid-1980s, although he was much better after collidge.

I forgot about Bickford. I was going with Eric Nedeau and his bronze medal at the indoor world championships.
