Nick is the Cross Country head and a track assistant. The track head is who has left. No idea why. Anyone have the inside scoop?
New Haven is for track not xc
Where did Reuben Jones from Columbia go?

Good coach, good hire for Drury.
Brojos delete yet another Miami thread
Seems like responsible thing to do given uncertainty of the claims. It is prudent to wait and let judicial system (whether that is on- or off-campus) play out. Moreover, anyone's name dragged through the on-line mud can ruin their chance of ever securing meaningful employment again. All it takes is a google search. Punishments will come, but it may not be necessary to label people. Few are beyond rehabilitation.
The real issue is the double standard employed by the Johnson boys. In their subjective pursuit of drug cheats they use causal (and casual) facts to draw exact lines to a persons guilt. They have labeled many as drug cheats, without actual fact. Maybe strong inferences, but not fact. Then they turn around and delete posts about a former Ivy league coaching buddy that has an actual legal issue that is relevant. It is not made up. The guys on the Miami team will tell you what they have been told by the administration about the legal proceedings. To just ignore this is a double standard.
BOOM. You're so right! Also Domestic abuse charges are kinda a big deal with when the guy is "coaching" young adults. Come on BroJos.
I think the incoming freshmen next year need to know the status of their coaching staff.
I am guessing that the post in question was deleted because it is not true. Redhawk Alum wrote a post that made it appear that he had first hand information regarding the situation. He stated that the coach was charged with Felony Assault. Felony Assault is defined as "There must be a weapon, and many states require that the weapon be a potentially deadly weapon. Finally, felony assault must include a physical injury." If he was charged with Felony Assault Miami would not be standing by this guy. Just because a post is deleted doesn't mean there is a cover up. Maybe what was posted was wrong or lie. With the current environment on college campuses these days no school administrator in the country would side with the accused for such a charge.

I hope this is not true. Whoever wrote this, true or not, you suck, you gossiping vulture.
Mike is a really good guy. I know, I know...we all hate racewalking. Whatever.
He and his wife are raising 3 special needs children while trying to coach for a living. That is a special kind of stress that most of the haters on this thread will never know.
Nor would I want you to...because judging from the comments I read here, few of you have the character to handle it.
I know another coach in the midwest dealing with this, and he's just not the same guy he used to be. It ages you. You just can't always bring your best to work, even though you love your job and can't imagine doing anything else.
The Rohl's have done some nice things at Mansfield with minimal resources and I wish them the best.
At Miami University there has been situation which is essentially a he said/she said thing. A woman claimed one thing, the head coach claimed another. The woman refused to drop the charges and now it goes to trial. It will be decided in a court of law and whatever happens, happens. Miami coach still suspended and assistant coaches are running the program as of today. No judgements here, just the facts of where we are.

Geren Woodbridge. He is now at Eastern Michigan. Very strange to hop from job to job like that.
My news years resolution is to stop reading the 2015 thread.
Please don't cause me to relapse by filling the 2016 thread with digs at Beth Sullivan etc...
Didn't Duke Lacrosse teach us anything about acting on hearsay and legal filings? There is no police reporting confirming what any charge is. We have online people claiming first hand knowledge, yet all anyone trustworthy has said is there is a legal dispute.
This thing has grown from a domestic dispute to some felony assault and has made stops everywhere in between.
*bump* Any updates, official or unofficial, on the Miami of Ohio coaching situation?

Coach Richardson went from Purdue to Miami of Ohio to Virgina to Harvard to Arizona...
Any updates on this issue at MU? Seems to be dragging on and wondering if the administration has taken actions or awaiting judgement.
