Tiffin potentially has the most big time NCAA points in the GLIAC.
Does Tiffin have anyone who can break 2, 4:40, 9, or 15?
Gvsu early bird meet is December 5. So is Hillsdale's early meet and I think svsu too.
Half of the weight field will be Ashland @ NCAA. They will take the national title this year.

Early Bird invite at GVSU this Friday.
NOW, is track season. Some off time for the XC runners and time to get to work.
I've got Jimmy McKleiver for the win in the 800 and mile. You heard it hear first. He's the dark horse.

DMR - Ashland, Grand Valley, Saginaw Valley, Ferris, Findley
Sad to say, but Enoch Rono is not on Northwood anymore. He now is a Commercial Driver for a transcontinental company. This is not a joke.
Ouch. Browsing thru results of the early bird this meet was very empty and slow. How was the svsu early bird? Great races by Mirth, the Michigan Tech guy, GVSU, Malone, and Ashland at nationals. Will any of the guys try to hit qualifying time at Hillsdale or amywhere else?

How good can this Ashland DMR be? Not in a perfect world. But on a solid day. How good can this team be?
Baum: 4:05/8:25
Windle: 1:46/3:44
Hall: 3:50/4:08
Davis: 1:52/4:13
400 leg?
How do these guys stack up to D1 teams?
National record on the horizon?
Could be a special year for these guys.
damn. that's flying

It will definitely be a good DMR. Hopefully they can go to a big meet and find a really fast one.
It seems like in the past they've obviously had some great 400 runners (46 splits and 47 opens) but they might not have that guy this year? Obviously that 1.5 seconds isn't the biggest thing ever, but it does matter a little.
I think as is, the best lineup has to be:
1200 - Baum
400 - whoever
800 - Windle
1600 - Hall
Ideally they'll get some other guy who they can count on to go out and run 1:49 and move Windle to the 1200 or 1600.
3:00
49
1:48
4:06
= 9:43
2:57
47
1:46
4:02
= 9:32
I could see them running anywhere in that range maybe.
Which lineup do you have running 9:32?
Any speculation as to GVSU's DMR will be?
Same lineup as the first, but assuming everybody improves a fair amount and everyone has an A+ day at the same time.
Lol
Ashland for national champs? Malone and gv with best distance?
Bump please.
