The answer is 10 out of last 20 years have been faster than 26:44. Seems pretty solid to me.
Also 10 years out of the last 50. Actually, with the exception of perhaps one year, Rupp would have always been in the top 2 or 3 in any year of the history of the 10,000. So how exactly would he not be a threat in the 10,000 even in the so called "strong" years of the 10k?
Can you just please face the fact: He is one of the best 10,000 runners of all time!!!
