Steve red, impressive results with 5 days a week. Im currently training that many days too. Could you give any insight to the training used? Im mainly interested in the 5k and half marathon training. Thanks.
I think it's a mistake to just run 5 days. I don't see how running 95K in 5 days should be easier on your body than running that mileage in 6 or 7 days. But to each his own. It's the same with doubles. At some "breaking point" it gets hard or even impossible for most runners to reach a certain mileage and quality with just one session per day. Can't run 130 MPW on 7 sessions? Try 14 and report back. Can't run 100+ K per week on 5 days without breaking down? Try to run it spread out over 6 or 7 days with some doubles. Give it a shot, OP!
