In addition to being an 8:09 pb, it's worth nothing that she won the race by more than 20 minutes and also broke the corse recorfd by 13 minutes.

Looks like she was paced by her husband.
The name Jen Fazioli takes me back. Think she was a HS superstar in the greater Albany area in the early 90s.
After coming across the bike trail that marathon is on by accident, I would have liked to run this marathon. It must be a really nice course. The section I ran was nice.
A pleasant course unless the wind is blowing upriver. And slightly less fan support that you'll see in Chicago/NYC/Boston!
