Was not expecting sub 2:03. What a run.

Amazing race for Kimetto. E. Mutai runs 2:03:14 for yet another 2nd place finish. All I can say is WOW!
Mutai in 2:03:13 under previous world record by 10 seconds
Kamworor is really going to crawl it in...great run, still!

That was utterly amazing to see. The German feed was starting to get laggy toward the finish--almost thought I was going to miss it! The guy looks incredible. Looking forward to the inside scoop (background, history, training) forthcoming... Fastest marathon ever! Soyonara G. Mutai's wind-aided Boston! Beautiful scenery and course!
In case you're wondering, LISA HAHNE THINKS THAT WORLD RECORD IS UNBELIEVABLE AND WE ARE JUST TAKING IT ONE KILOMETER AT A TIME AND I REALLY BELIEVE IN HANNAH
The women just ran their slowest km of the race.
38km 03:28
great time for Kimetto.

I have to turn the volume down when she talks.
Seriously. Too much tv face time for the bike. Show the runners

The German feed guys really focusing on the female marathoner "Anna." I assume a native German marathoner. Don't know much about her but her cuteness and a non-stop smile and whole-body beaming makes me curious... a bit unusual for a marathon, no?
Bump for Flanagan updates?
Thought i heard he was a farmer and G Mutai recognized his talent a few years back? No track history & didn't race until 2011!
PR for Cabada with 2:11:36.
PR of 2:11:36 for Fernando Cabada for 10th.
Wow! Incredible!
In short post-race interview, the interviewer asks "How fast do you think you can run?"
Sorry, but that was a very poor question to ask at that time.

Understatement of the decade.
Anna Hahner continues to smile very late in the race.
Will probably test positive for laughing gas.

Agree. Show us some other top gals. And seriously?? How is she so perky happy? Who is that way in the latter miles of a marathon?
Currently moved up to third, but a minute off AR pace. Still a gutsy run.

What is the threshold that separates a "hobbyjogger" from a "sub-elite" runner?
BREAKING: Leonard Korir not going to Paris! 11 Universality athletes get in ahead of him!
Hicham El Guerrouj is back baby! Runs Community Mile in Oxford
Do "running influencers" harm the competitive nature of the sport?
Why's it cost every household $5000 in taxes just to run a public school?
