If it's anything like golf, people will start and finish at different places on the course. They will just all start at the same time when the shotgun goes off and run the full course but just start and finish at different places.
We think that Providence have a slew of sleeper picks this year so will be interested to see how they compete against Oregon and Northeast rivals Syracuse.
Take a look at our preview of the Providence men for 2014 cross country here:

Results?
It's a bit early yet. The first race is at 3 PM.
Looks like USTFCCCA will be covering it live

Katrina Coogan FTW in the girls race
We'll be on site to cover it for you.

Nice preview - other than when you try to sound like you know the local running scene and give Wesley Gallagher a "plug" as a local favorite running for Northeastern! :)
Dude - he transferred to Ole Miss this year:

Kind of goes to the point that many of you/us have made on here regarding being familiar with the players involved before an event such as tomorrow races. These types of previews are the difference between me getting up at 2am to watch Berlin live vs. just settling for catching the replay later in the day. I know Reavis et. al. have made the point also so why doesn't the 'sport' get it? (Not being able to identify athletes in races due to stupid jersey restrictions is another shortcoming easily rectified)
Any poster there who can provide updates for the morning's races?

Update: The races don't start for a few hours.
Jon gault will post some updates from the meet on our twitter account - @letsrundotcom
We hate doing things on twitter and not on the messageboard, but it's hard to type at length on a phone. As a result, I'll probably repost whatever he's posting from twitter here.
The girls race is underway:

Gotta do some interviews. We'll post full results when they come out.
Michigan had antoher girl in the top 7 so it looks like they'll win the team title.
The men's race has begun:
Leaders go out in 4:55 for mile. Oregon had 5-6 guys up there. Harvard three, Dartmouth two but huge pack.
