Thoughts? When this shoe is on the less clunky and more responsive side it's been a real winner for me. It's supposed to be right around 10 oz., but from the pics I've seen it kind of looks like a brick.

have been looking on those too, but what's the release date?
October 2014 brah
So much better than the 16 and 17. We have them in-store already, and the fit and ride is far superior. Plus, they just look better.
How do they compare to the pegs? I know that one is stability and one is neutral... But a lot of us can train in either one.

Look good, upper fit is dialed in, but Nike just can't get the "support" right in this one. Too much stiffness on the medial side, compared to how soft the rest of the midsole is. Just not a smooth transition from cush to support.
i've noticed this feeling on some previous models but it usually fades quickly after a break-in period.
Colors? I've only seen dark colorways for the upper, anyone know if they'll be releasing more colors at launch?

You might have been able to get away with it in the 17's. The 18's are stiffer. They added a third wedge of foam to make it more stable.
tracktalk forum is saying that it's a great update... Supposedly the wear testers were raving about the new flyknit(isn) upper.
bumping this again... This is consistently one of the top shoes out there. Interesting that there is so little known about it.

What exactly are you looking for?
The shoe isn't out yet. It appears to more stable, more like the 15 and earlier. The colors are... interesting. The upper looks improved.
The new Peg and Elite are nice, so I assume this one will do well too.
It's been out for a few days now, so any early impressions regarding running in this shoe?
About to order mine! :) all in black except for the Nike-swoosh! looks absolutely sublime! Have been using Mizunos Wave Prophecy 3 for a year, so I hope they feel at least as good.
OP here, bumping this to heap some praise on this shoe.
It's light as a feather, yet somehow quite stable. The zoom air in the forefoot is really noticeable, in a good way, even when just walking around you feel propelled off of the forefoot...this feels even better when running.
Oh and then there's the upper, God, it's glove like. It's not quite flyknit, it's a bit more secure and yet it doesn't feel restrictive like the weird foot wrap thing in the Pegasus.
Bottom line, this is an amazing daily trainer for mild pronators, or pretty much anyone who is running high mileage and needs a bit of support.
