The advantage the USA has not just in sports, but in all fields is our diversity, hence the saying in the USA our greatest strength is our diversity.
We have the best of all ethnic groups working together, to create the most successful country in the history of the world.
The most successful country in the history of the world?
You were only successful in the first place because you had the great fortune to be colonised initially by the British.
You only have to look south of the border to see what could have happened had you been colonised by others.
As for historical success, the gold medal is probably Roman, but in 1850, Britain had just 1.6 per cent of the world’s population, but that 1.6% produced half the world’s coal and iron, controlled nearly two thirds of the world’s shipping and engaged in one third of the world’s trade.
Virtually all the world’s finished cotton was produced in British mills on machines invented and built in Britain.
London banks had more money on deposit than all the other financial centres of the world put together.
London was at the heart of a huge and growing empire that would at its peak cover 11.5 million square miles and would rule a quarter of the world’s people.
Britain led the world in virtually every measurable category, it was the richest, most innovative and most accomplished nation of its age.
The Empire is gone now, but we are still a family such that we can have a friendly Commonwealth Games for our sportsmen and women.
I cannot image a future equivalent Games from the broken USA Empire comprising the likes of Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and Kosovo.
Your attempts at building an empire have been disastrous and have led to your current bankruptcy
I agree though with your diversity - your blacks are foremost in football, basketball and athletics - whereas your whites are totally paramount at winning Nobel Prizes for Physics, Chemistry and Medicine.
