The ceiling does not move, and perhaps Galen's reach should exceed his grasp, or what's a heaven for, but Galen will now begin the slow decline which comes to runners who have reached their peak. Yes, I did believe that 26:48 would be his lifetime pb, but to be off by 4 seconds is not shameful.
