Is there anyone else out there that stopped running recently that simply doesnt care about it anymore?

No.
I haven't given up on running; but, lately it has been getting a bit bothersome for me. My legs have started hurting more and more, which is now starting to affect my times. But even though it is bothering me there is no way that I could just stop running.

Yes, actually, I did about a month and a half ago.
I have been running for 9 years, and suddenly, it just wasn't fun anymore. I've been lifting a lot recently and really like it, but as far as running, I haven't run a step since August.
nope...never
Does anyone really know what time it is?
Repeated injuries, my job, then family illnesses and deaths, along with a parental caretaker role and surgery for myself last year have pushed running onto the back burner. The passion is not there for sure, anymore. I miss it when I see a race on TV (the olympics interested me a little), but the competitive fire seems out.
I don't wear a watch anymore and have more or less become a fitness jogger (15 miles a week). The BIGGEST difference is when I miss a day, it's no big deal. Before, a missed day was a source of guilt and all the "oh-no-I'm-losing-fitness" reactions.
I miss being in good running shape, though.
does anybody really care about tiiiiiiiiiiime
Oh nooooooooo
RIP Terry Kath (they haven't been the same without you)
Not me!
Well, I care. No one else does, though. Not my parents, daughter, wife, cat, beer drinkin' buddies, co-workers. Why do I bother?
Because your ego won't you let go of running. It's one of the few things that you're really good at, thus your identity is really tied up in it. So if you give up running.....what do you do then? Who are you then? Not "the runner" anymore, just another rat.
Let go.....let go.

If you don't care about running, what the hell are you doing here?
I care abour it.
I care about it , but have been forced to not run since August because of a injury that is forcing me to think about if it is worth it and if I will ever be able to run again.
I am having major knee problems and wearing down of cartilage on my left knee which is casuing swelling and instability and pain. Doctors are unsure of the outcome
Im trying to rehab it but it is not working too well so far, so I may beforced into becoming a swimmer or biker.
I care but can't do it.
