what the hell are you talking about? Psychologists and "sports" psychologists both deal with the mind. Moreoever I wasn't criticizing the value of them if that is what you think. I don't know why you would. Also, I was just addressing about when a PRO athlete have one on one sessions with a "sports" psychologist. I maintain that what goes on in those sessions is probably not much different than joe accountant having a session with a regular psychologist. Confronting family issues, childhood issues, and work issues. Obviously it helps to understand the feeling of when athletes are physically taking things to the very limit. To that extent psychologists are sports psychologists. But at the end of the day pro athletes are just like anyone else with the emotional issues. I'm not saying there isn't such a thing as sports psychology. But many pro athletes are almost by definition beyond needing more drive, focus or motivation. Or if they do need that, many can just read "the inner game of tennis" or go to seminars. They don't need regular one on one sessions for that stuff.

Do you also speculate that women go to see gynecologists predominantly about non-uterus-vagina-ovary stuff, and that basically it's just a typical visit to a GP?
Ya SHITHEAD!
