Didn't mean to create such a fuss. But I did want to respond to those quoting the rise in temperature readings over the past 100 years. Those temperatures have gone up as the cities along with their asphalt and concrete infrastructure have expanded and encroached on the points where readings are taken. This causes temperatures to appear to be higher than had they been taken at points as far from development as they were when taken a hundred years ago.
Despite global warming being a "man-made" crisis, the same can't be said about record lows. Those data points are real and would have been even more significant if not for the urban sprawl. Could we be heading into a period of cool or non-existent summers?
