Has anyone tried the new Grid Azura? It is time for a new shoe and I tend to do better in light responsive shoes. Any feedback would be appreciated.

wide forefoot
firm midsole
felt horrible on my foot
you better try it on for yourself
dst, what shoes are you currently wearing. I have primarily been running in the Nike Skylon's and Zoom elites.
I love the shoe, it is a great light weight trainer.
i also have the zoom elites
as well as the wave precision, ds trainer, wave phantom, wave revolver, brooks burn, tiger paw, adidas universal and gel flash.
i work at a store so i have more shoes to train in than anyone should need.
if i could only have 3 they would be the precision, DS trainer, and revolver.
i love the fit of the elites but it is a little too posted for me.
What about the Grid Trigon, I am looking for a shoe for my longer runs. I like the feel of the lightweight trainers, but feel I need a little more cushioning on my Sunday runs.
I'm on my third pair of this one. It's about as light as a training shoe comes and it tends to hold up well for this class. Make sure on the fit, though. The forefoot is wide. The cushioning is OK, but nowhere near as soft as the Nike or the Addidas Boston (both a bit heavier).
the trigon DC is like a brick, full PU midsole so unless you are like 215 lbs it wont do.
the trigon RC or LC are okay but still have lots of width in the forefoot.
the outsole on the RC is softer than the LC.
if i had to choose i would go with the LC as it is a litle more flexible.
No, I'm about 155, which is the RC is it the middle shoe and the LC for the lightest category?
Try Saucony Swerve 10,5 oz
DST, of the shoes that you listed, I have the Burn, the Phantom and the Revolver. I like the Burn, but it's as much shoe as I will use. The Phantom's heel feels too high, and it is the only shoe that I have ever worn that bothers my PF. The Revolver is ok, but the forefoot isn't quite flexible enough for me (there's something about the shoe, and I think that's the problem, but it may be that the pair I have is a tiny bit small for me). Could you please tell me how the Tiger Paw compares and contrasts with the ones that I listed? Thanks.
I also love the Precision. I think, and I know several other people do too, that it's the best Marathon shoe out there. It has a very "flat" feel to it, but has more substance than one. Mizuno tends to have a very definate fit to it, but you may want to check it out.
I run in the first edition of the Azura. The orange and blue version with the quick laces. I like the shoe but the upper wore out much faster than any other shoe I have worn. My toe popped out of the side on both the shoes. I would second the recommendation on the Mizuno shoes. Try the Waver Rider for a pretty light shoe which will withstand marathon distance runs.
the tiger paw is definately the lightest of the bunch as well as the firmest ride.
for some reason it seems to last for tons of miles
my first pair has over a thousand miles and is still going.
it may be because there is not much there to start.
still a gr8 shoe.
the fit is the most similar to the mizuno. narrower than the azura and burn.
