"Come Dancing" by The Kinks and "Tainted Love" by Soft cell. Not that I really love either song, but I was a teen and worked at a pool and they were in heavy rotation that summer.

Anything by Chicago. We were kids living in a small town, and we could ride our bikes anywhere. Our generation was probably the last to have such freedom. Saturday in the Park, If You Leave Me Now, Feeling Stronger Everyday, and of course Old Days... Not a day would go by you didn't hear those songs on the radio, at the pool, or playing on the turntable while you hung out in your best friend's basement. And rare was the wedding that the newlyweds didn't dance to Colour My World.
I am 47.
We're going down down in an earlier round
And sugar, we're going down swingin
I'll be your number one with a bullet
A loaded God complex, c0ck it and pull it
"Old Days" by Chicago. Instantly brings me back to the summer of '79 (and yes, I know that it came out in '75)--greatest summer of my life, and met some people who I'm happy to say are amongst my greatest friends.
I'm 51.

Gloria - the branigan version.
was played at a my freshman orientation hike for college - played twice in a row actually. I've never felt so young and limitless - chucking away HS and moving on to college and dancing wildly with a bunch of smart kids.
I'll also say "Old Days" by Chicago. I'm only 21 now, but it brings me back to when Demon Dogs was still open under the L tracks next to DePaul.
"Jump" or "Panama" or "Hot For Teacher" by Van Halen (the good version of Van Halen). These take me back to my youth in the 80s.
"Tom Sawyer" by Rush. This takes me back to high school, when I got really into Rush.
"Summertime" by Fresh Prince, "Buggin' Out" and "Scenario" by A Tribe Called Quest (basically anything from Low End Theory album), and the entire Check Your Head and Ill Communication albums from The Beastie Boys all take me back to college parties.
Ockeghem's Kyrie "Au travail suis" always makes me shed a tear for my homeland.. ah ah ahhhhh
I am 700 yeas old btw.
"Peg" by Steely Dan and "Baker Street" by Gerry Rafferty (RIP) take me back to my 1970s childhood.
I'm 43.

They'd be up there on my list as well. I'm still 51.
Pretty much anything Creedence does it for me. My HS coach loved them and played them on the bus to and from meets and training runs. He had a bus driver's license and would take us to various trails and deserted country roads in the area for our a number of runs every week. Reminds me of those bus rides. Those were good times.
I am 30. I will be listening to Creedence the rest of the day at work now.
I'm taking some cues from other posters:
-"Scenes from an Italian Restaurant" by Billy Joel. This one usuallys causes a lump in my throat.
-"Time Passages" by Al Stewart.
-"Baker Street" by the late Gerry Rafferty. I'm not a big fan of this song, but it immediately takes me back in time. Great saxophone on this one.
I'm 54.
Kali Muscle's "Money and Muscle"
Different songs evoke different eras of my life. Since I was born before the transistor was invented there have been a lot of eras and a lot of songs.
Plus each woman that was significant in my life has a song(s)connected to her.
Then there are the songs that educate you...like one time laying in a well rumpled bed with the girl from the night before a song comes on the radio and she says "My husband and I wrote that". Education has many facets.

you slept with Oscar Hammerstein?
I'm 59 (gulp). Pretty much any song on Rod Stewart's Every Picture Tells a Story sends me right back to my jr year in HS, but especially Reason to Believe (a cover of a Tim Hardin song).
F*ck Tha Police and Straight Outta Compton
Those were the days, man
