I'm guessing Jamaican women are going down and going home devasted.

I'm going to out on a limb and say it's not Gatlin or Gay (or both).

Jamaican Championships were last weekend, as was the USATF Championships. My guess is this relates to one of those two if it's drug-related.

Probably too early for Jamaican Champs results and US Champs (Bowie).

Considering Ato being Trinidadian and that he called it not so funny, I suspect Thompson. But then I suspected him as soon as he ran that 9.82.

And if it is Thompson, you can forget about Sprintgeezer ever coming back. Too much crow to eat.

I saw that last night and was disappointed there was no follow-up tweet explaining.

Actually, IIRC (and I don't remember these things well) there was a long thread of "untainted 100m times", where I think he pretty much said that 9.84 has been the fastest so far, that Bailey/Lewis were the best ever, and that Thompson was second-rate, but only just. So I don't think he would agree with a second-rater beating the very best cleanly.

But WTF do I know, we don't even know anything about this rumour. Could be that Ato is sick, who knows?
