Yes I understand she's just an 18yr old girl, but Mary Cain's interviews are getting somewhat silly

Can't say I agree. I guess I like that she acts normal and, like others say, non-media savvy, which is refreshing.

However, I guess I can see how this might annoy others. To each their own.

at least she's not taking interviewing lessons from Rupp!

Actually brah, I was genuinely curious about the advice of "lame guy observation", because it sounded like he had experience, and could therefore lead by example (by posting one of his interviews).

She's been in the media spotlight for years. How is it that 14 year old gymnasts and skaters can be charming and witty, but Cain can't? She just doesn't have it yet, and hanging out with sleazy and rupp ain't gonna help.

Actually, Rupp's interviews are VERY good; in every one I've watched he directly answers the questions while giving lengthy responses, USUALLY looks at the camera, and he seems to be fairly nice. Rupp just doesn't try to be funny in his interviews like so many of the other idiots, and he shouldn't try.

The world is infinitely better now that you've voiced your opinion publicly on how you feel about a high school kid's interviews after races. Keep protecting the world from 18 year olds who don't interview the way you would like.....keep up the good work....the world need more men like you.

Cain is funny though, she said in one of her recent interviews she doesn't care if she medals at Juniors in the 3000, she just wants to be the "top white girl"

By the time she is 19 years old, she might be as articulate as Devon Allen. The guy gave an incredible interview with Ato Bolden in the USATF "Cool Down".

The problem with women around the age of 18 is they probably look the best they ever will (between then and 25) but they are annoying as hell. It not her fault man, talk to any 18 year old girl, it's all the same.
