Because she cheated. Therefore DQ.
The splits show her missing. She was place 106 between James Ficke and Buddy Teaster.
Again, her questionable results were:
4:30:59 4:48:16 5:54:06 4:01:50 5:34:07 = 24:49:18
However, the splits are merely circumstantial and don't prove anything. The race director must have made calls and gotten statements to confirm something amiss.
So good on him. And great job letrunners. Excellent sleuthing.
At first I thought she didn't run it in 2013 and there was no result to remove, but I looked at an archived version of that webpage and saw that in 2013 she ran it in an alleged 24:49:18 and was the 106th finisher. On the updated version, there is no 106th finisher. Wow. Good for them. The big hook's coming out and the curtains are closing...

As you point out, the splits themselves aren't conclusive. Would be great to hear more from the RD about what led to the DQ + whether he's been in touch with the Badwater RD. Interesting that such a roller-coaster of a thread has produced a very tangible result.
#106, gone. If you cheat, you get DQ'd.
There was an eye witness to her cheating as well at 2013 Rocky (read back on this tread). The bottomline is that she has been DQ'd. Discuss and debate all you want.
Stop cheating or the RD will take it upon his/her self to end it on their own.

PM isn't simply out as #106, she's listed at the bottom of the results as a DQ. It's one thing to quietly remove a runner from a results list; it's another to clearly indicate that the runner participated in the race and has been disqualified.
Last line of the results:
DQ Parvaneh Moayedi TX F 4:30:59 4:48:16 5:54:06 4:01:50 5:34:07
Well done LRC and RR RD! As has been hashed out over many pages in this thread, her 4th loop split at RR was on par with the elite winners of that race. Way out of line with finishers in her time bracket. Additionally, there were eyewitness accounts to PM taking a "shortcut." I admire the RD for caring enough about accurate results and for taking this deserved action and preserving the integrity of a great race.
Too bad there are no splits from her 23 hr 100 she put on herself, but at least in real/more well known races, she's lost her un-earned results.
Last line says it all.
Wow. Didn't see that. I guess the splits were part of the evidence. And nothing like a public shaming as part of the punishment and leaving her name on the results like that.
And of course, it should be mentioned that RD's usually offer suspected cheats the opportunity to counter evidence brought against them, so I guess that process transpired.
She's DQ'd at the bottom of the splits:
PM goes down! When will the next domino fall?
The funny thing is that if her husband hadn't posted weird rambling responses on this thread, the whole thing might have blown over before more evidence was unearthed.
Steve Holehan's posts were so crazy and were the perfect example of "methinks the lady doth protest too much" that more research was done by this community.
Nice work, Steve-O!
Good on the RR RD!

I think you're right. His posts were high on the WTF scale and brought more interest into the thread. It probably would have died a long time ago if he had just ignored Concerned Saint Onion and let it fade into the archives.
Rumor has it that after the race she told a race official she had missed a turn and inadvertently cut the course. Nothing was ever done about it, but she did what she needed to do (alert race official).
Perhaps the RD finally got around to it.

Riiiiight. And Barry Bonds thought he was taking flaxseed oil.
Streisand effect.

Interesting. And what, pray tell, does "rumor" have to say about Badwater?
