Yeah, pretty close, I should have just gone to bed.
Congrats to Rupp on 6 straight. Sometimes being dominant is boring.
But it gives the losers/haters on liars rant.com something to cry about
Makes me excited for Lalang to be an American. But thanks for the race updates. The video feed was not working at all for me.

One of the worst "races" ever. No wonder American men are a joke when they run internationally.

The announcer is saying there is nothing gained by running the 5000 tmw? I disagree. You get to beat Lagat before he's freaking 40.
Next year, Lagat will be at the USA masters champs.
Right, the 5k will hopefully be more interesting.
It really should make Jerry want to reexamine some things about speed if Derrick gets obliterated by a 60 second last lap. Derrick must've run what, 65? That wasn't even speeding up from what he had been running at the previous few laps. Granted, Rupp took off at 54 seconds pace or so the first 200 to put him away and break his morale, but you'd still hope Derrick could have some discernible kick...

This. Beating Lagat would I imagine be a big deal psychologically for Rupp.
I can't believe Lagat has beaten our best American-born track runner FOR THIS MANY YEARS. Lagat's a phenomenal runner, however, so I can't complain.

28.12 = joke American championship
No it isn't. That's faster than average. Look up 2010 results.

Thanks. I actually didn't watch the beginning of the race.
So what were Rupp's 5K splits?

28:12, yeah right, fastest time in the World, maybe 50 years ago.

You're just as annoying as they are. Losers/liars rant isn't even clever.

Since when is 28:12 incredible?
He didn't say a 28:12 is incredible, moron. It was incredible how easily he can beat Chris Derrick who is a very solid runner.
Please refrain from making terribly idiotic posts in the future.
so around 13:35 for the second 5k?
The question is will tomorrows 5k be faster? :)
rupp getting interviewed
paris 5k next saturday
then train for 6 weeks to get ready for the rest of the season
Is this the best America has? A slow 10k, and so many runners getting lapped. The rest of world has nothing to worry about.

Boy George, and I was looking for validation here and really, really trying to be clever, too. not really. I generally prefer intelligent posts and interaction, but must admit I get sick of all the negativity and hate that seems to what this mB is all about.
Who from America is running the 5k in Paris? It can't be any of the runners from this event.
rupp gives credit to derrick for the pace

Well I have read a few of your posts. You are not immune to what seems to bother you so much.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
