I'll bite. "Recovery" which is slow and meant for...duh, recovery. Regular "training pace" in which you do regular runs in in order to cover your daily mileage. "Hard" including tempo runs, fartleks, intervals, etc. and last but not least "race pace" in which you will run as hard as you can for any given distance to complete it as fast as capable.
Am I close?
Many triathletes say that if you want to truly recover, you should not run. Dicus.
