In 2 weeks i'm racing a track 5k coming off of a half marathon (72min) and a couple 10k's (32:xx in bad conditions) earlier in the spring, but am rounding into much better track form. The fastest i have run is 15:12 in a road race in october. Just for reference my last week's training was:
Monday: 8miles easy(55') [8]
Tuesday: 4m tempo (21'45) + 4x200 in '28 [7.5]
Wednesday: 10miles easy/progressive (65')[10]
Thursday: 8 miles easy (56') [8]
Friday: 2x1mile with 5:00 jog in 4:40, 4:36 [6]
Saturday: 7.5miles easy (52') [7.5]
Sunday: 13long/progressive (87min)[13]
Total: 60miles
I'm thinking i am close to PR shape, is sub 15 plausible at this point?
