I need a coach to get my butt in gear in the gym.
Objective : getting faster in terms of top speed, and holding on to it long. 400m. But I'll also do (much) longer stuff, I have a background in mountainbiking and still consider myself aspiring XC Skier (snowless country though).
Anyone have good experiences with apps or Excel sheets to guide me what to do, and track my progress?
When I frequented a gym like 18 years ago, we got a thick paper table with the exercises on it. Easy and compact to log sets, reps and weight. Progress was insane.
This time, I will push weights just to get better at track. Not for the beach look, not to impress the testosteron crew with the weights I do. Just speed and endurance.
Would really appreciate if someone could share what I need.
400-specific stretching, as in getting more flexible, would also be great. I know I am flexible as a broom stick and that can't be helping.
