Great run by Willis in the Oslo Dream Mile. 3:49.83 for 2nd behind Ayanleh Souleiman who got the win in 3:49.49.
400m into the race Willis was 2nd to last and Ethiopia's Homiyu Tesfaye was last. They would finish 2nd and 3rd with great pacing.
Centrowitz was right on the pace throughout but faded to 3rd.

Tesfaye's Ethiopian-German, running for Germany.
Centro was in great position to 1200 but didn't have it at the end.
Fine finish from Willis. Congratulations to him! -
Centro faded to third?

It's not to late Allen!!!!!!!!1111111111

Didn't Centro get pushed into the rail or something?

I think to welcome someone into a club, one needs to be a member of said club.
-
Don't you have to BE in the club to welcome someone in? Or are you playing the role of the bouncer?

last year dude ran 3:33.12 and 4 days later went 8:00.09
I'm gonna do it: ventolin, line of fitness for this performance? This mile looks a tad slower than last years, is that good for his SC?
What about Evan Jager? Just ran 8:06.97, does he have a chance at sub 8? -

That was good timing. -
I should add he ran 3:53.33 11 days ago. Clearly Mekhissi peaked once early June '13, and again in August to get bronze at WCs. Jager might have peaked a little late last year and ran 13:02.

Congrats, Nick, on first sub-3:50! Also, national record for Ingebrigtsen (NOR).

What was most impressive was the way in which he ran. Moving up with 500 to go and then able to go all out on the final lap. A near perfect race.

As long as you're focusing on the white milers, which you seem to be doing, give it up for INGEBRIGTSEN, who had a nice 3:50. That's got to be a PR, right? -
Centro got beat by a dude from NORWAY, Freaking NORWAY! Anericas best lose to a guy form NORWAY in TRACK. Jesus.

This Willis kid is starting to seem like the real deal. Congrats, Nick. Way to show that Centro punk how it is done.

And last year a bro from Mongolia was faster than America's best in the marathon.

Quickly scanned the all-time list and it looks like he is the 2nd oldest to break 3:50 for the first time. I think Mike Boit was older.
