Maybe, or maybe not. The President made this far worse by doing a Rose Garden political event. His advisers blew it even more by not understanding the father would look and speak like a taliban.
The President not understanding the situation and setting it up to be a big political victory has made this far worse for him.

Afghans are Cauc-Asian people who are traced to Ancient Mesopotamia and Ancient Persia.
