Not sure why this story didn't mention it, but Jordan says in the book that it was his mother who encouraged him not to hate white people . . .

"So I threw a soda at her," Jordan says in the book. "I was really rebelling. I considered myself a racist at the time. Basically, I was against all white people."

It was after that incident that Jordan's mother convinced him that he could not go through life consumed by racial hatred.

I went on to comment that too often conservatives use made up examples (see Tadpole) to claim double standards instead of actual stories like the Jay Z one you linked, which is really comical that you think that Jay Z picked out an accessory to wear because of its anti-white symbolism.
