I think he's done and graduated.
Enda will be running outdoor track for Brown this fall. He is a 5th year senior and has eligibilty left after a broken foot his sophmore year. Last year he had a virus mid winter and never shook it. Look for him to come up big again in the 1500 and maybe the 5k.
I thought Ivy League schools only allowed 4 years of participation. Anybody know what's going on with this?
There's exceptions to the Ivy 4 'n 4 based on a five year academic program combined with a medical redshirt (Enda qualifies in both categories)...I believe he is awaiting a hearing to see if his eligibility can be used. Let's hope we see him in a Brown uniform in the spring, and returned to his sophomore and junior year fitness!!
Tora Harris, HJ national champion at Princeton, took a year off for personal reasons and was able to compete even though it was technically his "5th year." Penn's Brian Chaput, IC4A champion in the javelin will also invoke the medical clause as he sat out his entire sophomore academic year due to Tommy John surgery.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
