I ran about 25-30 miles a week this track season. If I bump that up with a good summer of running, what are your predictions for my 5k this fall? Thanks guys!

I had a similar time for the 3200 my freshman year, and my sophmore year I started the season with a 17:30 and ran a 16:50 at regionals
Impossible to tell at your age and experience level. Really.
Just have an awesome summer of training and see what happens. Also, don't get discouraged if your progress is slower than you'd hoped. Consistent training produces long term results, but it's not linear, and it's not on your imagined schedule.

Letsrun is full of success stories, but I also had a similar 8th grade time and ran 16:20s next year. Run over the summer.

Thanks for the encouragement. I'd like to run some steady 40 mile weeks.

0/10
shouldn't you be in school studying geometry?
Probably the whole way.
You are way too young to be visiting this website. The Brojos need to be better about who they on this filth-machine.
17:20 if you have endurance...18:00 if you are purely a speed guy.
Dude who cares about freshman year. I did not break 21 minutes for 5K as a freshman and I ran 4:12/1:53 my senior year.
