go to the biker bar like 2 miles into the race.

+1 I remember the party scene at some of those bars in the early miles when I ran it. With the noon start and a warm, sunny day - boom!

I know that security has to be higher, but installing bars along the Boston Marathon course is going too far!
For the poor runners, it will feel like running in a prison!

And try Crossroad Cantinta, cornor of Mass Ave and commonwealth. Park over by MIT and walk across the bridge, it's not bad
