Hello LetsRun community. I am a first time poster and I had problems with Cross Country spikes. This past season I wore the Saucony Killkenny XC 5 and wore the spikes given with the shoes. I ran on a hard surfaced course and one of the spikes literally went up through the shoe and into my foot. So I decided to go to my local running store and asked them whats wrong, they gave me a free new pair and said maybe it because I run on my toes, so next race it happens again!! Then I decide to buy completely new spikes and I get Saucony Carrera, because apparently they are able to handle more difficult terrain. But then at my region meet two spikes both in same place went up my feet again!!! So I go to the store and they says use blanks @ states and Footlocker South, (both courses have very hard ground.) So I run the races and the blanks brought discomfort to my feet. Any Advice?? (new spikes, racing flats, etc.....)
