You're right. However, you cannot disqualify someone from a 2014 championship based on a 2012 race.
One wonders if Salazar knew Gabe Grunewald's past would be an easy ticket to DQ just in case his runners didn't come through for him. One wonders if that's why he didn't need to pay Gabby to DNS like she did Simpson and Conley. One wonders if this is the "additional conclusive evidence" put up by SalazarNikeUsatfNOP to reverse the appeal.
Nike my @ss.
Not really. There are plenty...plenty of posts on here saying Hasay was at fault, or denying that Gabe did anything wrong.

The debate isn't really about whether GG should or should not have been DQ'd. Clearly there are opinions on both sides. It's about Nike cheating to get their athlete into the championships.
Had she been DQ'd within the framework of the rules, there'd be controversy, but we'd move on. That didn't happen. Instead the controversy lies within Nike's belief that they are bigger than the rules.

There is, it's called disqualification.

Obviously all the "reinstatements" weren't going to change her conduct on the track.
That was TWO different races she just plowed through two runners in front of her.
