Seems lung capacity could improve ones performance. I have been using one, but am learning to find the best training protocols. Any feedback would be appreciated.

The literature says that lung training like this does not help performance.
First, lung capacity is pretty much set and is strongly related to body size.
Even improving the function of the muscles around the lungs can be done by interval training. I argue that you are wasting your time and money.
