Just going to list the symptoms:
-Hips click when i flex my glutes
-very tight hip flexor, when stretching it mild pain goes down the leg
- don't know if this is causing it/associating it, but pain where butt meets hamstring on the same leg on that bony part (can feel it cycling etc). When doing donkey kicks and glute exercises can feel this sharp pain, like i;ve torn something.
- when running, leg feels awkward; get some pain on that leg sometimes going to the knee
- at its worse caused me to limp, the affected leg feels uncoordinated and a bit weaker than the right leg; my left glute definitely stronger than my right. Also when it was bad it would hurt to pick up my right leg using hip flexor and extending it (e.g. sitting down and raising knee to chest)
- hopping on it feels awkward and a tiny bit of pain can be felt in my hip and quad
i took some rest for a few (wish) and just swam and biked and it didn't get much better, started to run again and didn't get worse but hasn't improved.
got X rayed and no signs of stress fracture
seen a chiropractor who thinks its a biomechanical issue
So, what is this? how do i treat it? who should i see about it?
