I was in a similar situation for several years. 12 to 16 hour work days, 50km trip to and from work, working/ studying wife and 2 teenage kids still at home.
I had a simple solution, when I finished work I changed into my running gear and went for a run. Sometimes this might be after midnight, even did some as late as 2am. I just aimed at getting in 45m to an hour of running in.
If I had a later start in the am. I often left my car somewhere on the way in and would bike the rest of the journey. This was done on an abandoned railway. This was anywhere from 12 to 28kms. I would then have no choice but to either run or ride back regardless of the time I finished. A few times I was out running along the rail trail through the forest until 2 in the morning, very pleasant with just me the moon and the marsupials.
So HTFU Princess, just get out and go for a run!
