I want to know more about the prank phone calls.
Mr Know: More medals? Sounds like Symmonds if u count US, otherwise possibly Willis?

The red flag for Rupp is also the workouts he is doing after his American Records. That for all of you know it all's is NOT normal.
You can say that again. 4:01 last mile repeat less than 90 minutes after an 8:07 2 mile? FOUR. OH. ONE. MILE. And then he sits down and immediately starts laughing about something as he removes his spikes.
No my issue is that your post seemed to imply that an epipen being used in the waiting area would be a realistic scenario. It would not.
Something Rupp drank obviously tickled his tummy.
You clearly have no clue. You're not saying he's faster than El G yet you have no problem with him saying he is shooting to break El G's Indoor mile record? If he did that then that would mean he was better than El G in the indoor mile right?? Just to let you know 3:38 OUTDOORS is way Different than 3:50 indoors. As I've continually stated it's not so much the time it's the PROGRESSION to get to that time. His previous best indoor mile was 3:57 and then he just chops off 7 seconds indoors and we are all supposed to chalk it up to he just was improving?? It would be different if the 1500 was his main event and he ran multiple 1500 and miles every year, but he DOESN'T so therefore he can't have that progression cause he doesn't run that event that much. Also on the Moser circumstance she didn't get injured on the new trainin regime because she to Al Sal's "training" plan and had the best year of her career. So there wasn't an adjustment period at all, which also isn't normal. You can Believe what you want, but US that are in it know what's going on..
lol dude, "repaid benefits"? what are "benefits"? that you can repay with money? After being "comped" by NIKE? If getting monetary benefits from nike isnt going pro, I don't know what is. And like I said, only Nike's little golden boy could get away with this by paying the money back after the fact.
Still waiting on those TSH T3/T4 values buddy.
And why didn't he go to UO right away, why after Smith left? I bet because Smith isn't the type of guy to let an athlete on his team have a separate coach. That is so asinine it is unbelievable, I cannot even imagine someone having any coach other than their college coach. This agitates people. This type of thing is why people don't like him, this unique brand of otherness.
I'm not saying you aren't allowed to be upset after not wining a race. I just remember the difference about how Solinsky carried it and about how your beloved ambassador carried it. Shaking hands is the bare minimum and he doesn't even aways follow through on that. He looks pouty. Its an unlikeable look IMHO. Thats my opinion though, and the opinion of quite a few others.
You asked why people don't like him and now you're arguing me and everyone else on our impressions of someone we don't personally know. Why don't you just invalidate our opinions and say we're stupid LR keyboard jockeys and go rub one out to your boy. You'll feel a lot better, I promise.

I love how you just write for 2008 Makes Olympics an have no time, which by the way was 27.37. Oh and it's funny that after he got beat by Solinsky in 2010 his time dropped 20seconds by the next year when he was averaging around 27.3 year in and year out. He went from 27:10 down to 26:48 in one season. That is a huge drop when you are already running that fast. Not to mention his indoor mile PB is 2 seconds faster than his outdoors PB is and if his 1500 PB is 3:34 OUTSIDE then that def does not equal out to that 3:50indoors. Just speaking truths my friend.
Except if you run 27:33 at 21, 26:48 at 25 isn't ridiculous. He was probably in 27:00 shape in 2009 but hurt his groin after USAs.
You keep focusing on his mile time, which isn't relevant to anything other than him being good at running the mile. He could run 3:50 outdoors, I'm sure, but doubt he could run 3:43.
jack frost wrote: ...I'm sure, but doubt he could run 3:43.
Umm, no. Rupp is doing something "extra" to get his mile time down so drastically. Stop being an ostrich, see the light.
You are focusing on a fast indoor mile, 3:51. He did not run at or near the world record. He ran top 10 all time 5000 and 2 mile marks. It is not earth shattering.
He got faster in the mile when he got stronger. He was a 4:01 high school miler who built up aerobically in college. He spent the last few years working in his ability to run the last mile very fast because that is how international races tend to go. He got stronger and worked on sprint form. Galen and Mo were weak.
I am sure Chris Derrick could PR in the mile as well. Evan Jäger could do the same. They are just better than a few years ago.
I never assume a pn athlete is not n drugs. I just think people tend to act like Rupp is performing at a world record level, when he is not.
Simple answers.
1) Solinsky was never a flawed runner without speed. Solinsky won an NCAA indoor 3000 title as a sophomore.
Hence Solinsky couldn't raise eyebrows by improving to 3:50 in the mile and having his former B level African training partner run 3:28.
2) Solinsky/Jerry's group isn't and never was on thyroid.
3) Solinsky has never worn a mask
4) Solinsky tells people where he is going to race.
Solinsky (unlike Galen) never first once said he was going to go after the 10k AR in Eugene and then switch last minute to Stanford.
This indoors, it was first I'm going for the WR on February 8th. No wait, I'm doing it on February 15th. No wait, I'm not going for it, I'll run on tv on February 8th. No wait, I'll drop out of the race and go do a workout afterwards and charge you $20 to watch it.
5) Solinksy's coach never coached a doper like Alberto coached Mary Slaney
6) Solinsky didn't have a private coach in college.
Maybe not in your eyes but in mind. Rupp wears masks, never knows where he is going to race, takes lots of medications and is coached by a guy who coached a doper and charges people $20 to watch his post-race workouts.
And you wonder why the group is viewed differently?
Well Galen's coach is a guy who once coached the doper Mary Slaney.
I'm not going to comment on Mary Slaney. I don't know her and he wasn't coaching her when Dick Brown was running shop in Eugene.
I will respond to what I do know.
#1- flawed? 13:37/4:01 in high school doesn't mean "no speed". Great observations there.
#2- Schumacher's group have used Dr. Brown and his expertise in thyroid problems. Solinsky is on the stuff. How do you think he got so thin before his AR?
#3- Galen actually has asthma. The mask , aesthetically pleasing or not, is a necessity.
#4- Galen didn't charge anyone $20 to watch him workout. Maybe Flortrack did but he doesn't work for them.
#5- Solinsky , like Galen, has had the same coach in college and beyond.

What in the world would ever make anyone think that Salazar's buttboy rupp ain't doping?
Obviously nobody believes that rupp is legitimate. jackfrost, aduck and their ilk are blatant NOPe shills being paid to try to stem the bad pr flood.
You make statements without substance.
My statement is substantial. We should give polygraph tests to anyone who claims that rupp is legit. Highly doubt that they really believe their own utterances.
What facts/rationale do you have to support this?
WTF? Whose statements are unsubstantial? Westword wants to give lie detector tests to the fanboys. It looks like that is a statement of fact. The rationale is that there are a few posters who seem to be on the NOPe pr payroll.
The guy is literally hiding behind a mask lol
