Um, they have already dueled on the roads over the 1/2 marathon and marathon distances (anything else?). I think you are late to the party: the duel has rivalry has already been transferred to the roads (with a brief break for Haile to finish on the track the last 2 seasons).

Actually, it was the speed work required to battle Bekele on the track that hurt Geb’s achilles. Moving up will be a good thing for him (as Mackenzie pointed out). And he has already come back from one calf/achilles problem quite well.
