Rupp's mile race this weekend at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix will take the place of the record attempt next weekend.
Ricky Simms, agent to Galen, told LRC: "The aim for this weekend is primarily to race well and compete. He will not race on the 15th but instead prepare for USATF Champs and World Indoors. He is in good shape and can do very well in Sopot if he gets it right."
That sucks, but probably due to the champs on 2/22.
Among the new indoor 1500m women's wr and Craig Virgins PED remarks. A 3:47-3:49 American record or Wr mile by Rupp may have just been to much for everyone to swallow and still continue to say he's "absolutely" clean.

Yes, because Salazar and Rupp are so known for dictating their plans due to rumors and hearsay. We all know that the opinions of the masses account for so much when convicting one of doping.
Can Willis make it interesting? Maybe Lomong? Manzano won't.
I think it's the right change to make in the context of performing at his best (physically, tactically, mentally) at Worlds. He's obviously very fit, now a race in which he has to compete for position and be a little smarter should help him prepare for what should be a similar race at worlds.
