Trying to build uf some kind of base for the summer, did nothing all December and am pretty much self-dependent, as my running club mainly consists of hobby joggers (including the head coach).
Ran a session with a group of triathletes today and wanted some advice on where I'm standing atm.
I usually run 800/1500 in summer, mostly off of the little speed I have.
PBs:
800: 1.59
1500: 4.09
10k: 36.20 (2 years ago)
Todays workout:
2 x 4 x 600m @ 1.56 average with 300m jog recovery @ 90s and 5 minutes jogging inbetween.
Felt hard, but good and not too hard - I ran the last one a bit faster without having too push myself too much and guess I could've done one or two more (I'll be doing those next week).
This is the first successful workout I've run in a while and I just wanted to know what the collective wisdom of LRC says, since I lack orientation.
Any guesstimates are welcome.
