Anyone double with both of their runs on a treadmill? To state the obvious, it's cold and icey out there this time of the year.
Foregoing the discussion of if the treadmill is the same as outside for this thread, since outside would only produce a sloppy run where I'm struggling just to stay upright without the roads being paved for good traction. To get my miles in I've been doubling on the treadmill when I know the conditions outside won't allow for a good tempo, interval workout. For example 12 mile tempo before work and then an easy 5 on the treadmill 6-7 hours later during lunch at work.
Thoughts?
