WADA classifies it as an anabolic agent:

Elite fitness:
"Clen is really only anabolic in animals because they have what is called alpha 3 receptors. These receptors are found in abundance in most animals and produces anabolic growth while the Alpha 2 and beta2+3 recptors create fat loss by speeding up your brown fat cells. Basically humans have so little of A3's that we don't get anabolic effects from Clen. Some people have reported it though, But I would have to think only for the first three days, untill down regulation kicked in, and they probably had a high amount of A3 receptors."
Clenbuteral is being used by farmers on their cattle.
Does WADA quote any scientific evidence showing that
Clenbuteral has anabolic effects on humans, or do they
just like shafting athletes that like cheeseburgers?

On a more serious note than my last post, someone who should know told me that she was doping. Clenbuterol is an off-season favorite in the professional cycling community for its effects of keeping weight down and building some muscle. A couple of professional cyclists recently have been busted for it.

Steroidal.com:
"The truth of the matter is that the studies that have been conducted, as well as the anecdotal evidence from human users and bodybuilders, have demonstrated that Clenbuterol’s anabolic effects are very negligible at best."
You get a TUE for Clenbuteral for exercise induced asthma,
and use the drug to burn fat and get wired before a race or
workout.
I wonder just how many TUEs Rupp has these days.
This is sad. Mary trains near my house quite a bit. I see her often as I am driving to work. I wish it were not true.
My wife has known her since she first came to the U.S. We have followed her results for years.
She is well-known here in the L.A. area.

And the very latest announced today is Michael Rogers, it's being reported he reckons he ingested it in meat in China where the farmers do use it. He was in China before the Japan race where he was pinged, guess he should have covered himself and had a TUE exemption like NOP athletes.
Who knows what the truth is with any of these people.

One of those cyclists is named Alberto Contador.
Do some research first. Clenbuterol is not approved for any use by the FDA. This is not you garden variety albutetol.

You shouldn't be surprised by this. Everyone heard about her driving down to Mexico to buy her PEDs. This was years ago.
She's like Liza Galvan Hunter.
She's a vegan.

Yep, that pretty much seems fair.
Can we settle this once and for all. ASTHMA DRUGS HAVE NO ERGOGENIC AFFECT via inhalers!
To get any ergogenic effect from Clenbuterol bodybuilders start by taking 4mg. Rupp consumes about 20mcg per dose. Yes, that's MICROGRAMS! He's taking about half of one percent of the dose that bodybuilders use. Also, it's inhaled, not injected or ingested, so it will have an almost negligible systemic affect. The delivery mechanism tends to have a high first pass removal from the body. They have to be designed this way to prevent long term usage from messing up your Hypothalmic Pituatary Axis (which you can also do yourself by overtraining and undernourishing), among a million other side effects like osteoporisis, palpitations, cataracts, glaucoma, thrush, headaches, dry mouth, even suicidal thoughts, and paradoxically, broncho constriction. Otherwise the FDA or EMA will never approve them.
Furthermore, Rupp doesn't even take Clenbuterol, he takes Albuterol via Combivent. He also takes Advair (Fluticasone/Salmeterol) and Singular, a leukotriene inhibitor. They are all mcg dosages and do not have any ergogenic affect.
Ventolin^3, do you concur?

Good one, you win for your double reference!
Although Ed O'Neil/Al-Bundy played in "Prefontaine",
not "Without Limits".
No you don't. wrote:

I did the research. It is a Beta agonist.

And no one reported it? It amazes me that people just let stuff like this go on (if true). WADA has a hotline for a reason.

How do YOU know what drugs Rupp takes?
