Who are the candidates.

Tennessee Wesleyan has an operating budget of:

--$6,551 for 46 men (all teams combined)

--$4,553 for 35 women (all teams combined)

=$11,104 total budget

Says Head Coach is Part-time/Full-time institution employee (part-time coach, full-time course instructor?)

Looks like a job where the coach has to fundraise like crazy in Athens, TN.

yogi teevens to Washington state (WSU) to fill hurdles and jumps. Looks like macdonald out for sure now. Teevens was coach at Idaho when Phipps was there, but has been at Utah state past few years.

Any news on positions filled at Idaho?

The WSU release doesn't say anything about Yogi Teevens coaching hurdles, so it's a better than even shot that Angela Whyte, who was on the Idaho staff last year gets that spot.

OF course if Whyte's Canadian citizenship is an issue, they could theoretically go back & get MacDonald...we will see

Hawaii should be offering the job this week.

Sullivan never held a coaching position...so he is a "volunteer coach". The only reason they hired him because he is a Michigan guy and he was a great runner. Does not mean he can coach. Clayton was wrong for letting Gibby go and I believe he should of been stopped. Alex Gibby had a way with the boys and he could of talked his way into any home and did!!!

Regarding the Bradley Position, they are only hiring for Head position, assistant is filled with Matt Esche as of now. If they moved him up, then an assistant position would open up.

Greg Hipp to Bradley, not going to happen.

My money would be on Esche or if Erin Howarth from Eastern Illinois has applied, I could see her as a likely candidate.

Hope he does do a good job or Clayton will be the next one to go. Clayton wanted the control and now he has it. And if you were the HC keeping Gibby should of been a no brainer.

Most of the time the head coach is going to be able to hire his own assistants and he may not want to keep the current assistants. If Esche doesn't get the head job, would he really want to stay and work for the guy that got the job he felt he should get.

He should be happy to have a job at all!
