the reasons i joined track was to get faster and to also get in shape. right now i train as a sprinter since im in a winter track class that is diveded up between sprinters and distance runners. we are training for outdoor season track.and before outdoor season track begins i will decide what events i will be doing. i really want to try other events since im the slowest sprinter on my team right now.i am interested in the jumping events.
anyway my question is will joining track and field get me in great shape. right now im kind of tall and skinny but i have always had a little belly fat. i have always wanted a six pack, so this year i set a goal that i will have a beach body before i start my summer vacation in june.
