Question for coaches and physiologists and athletes.
Say you're a 5K - 10K type.
Do you see value in doing 30-30s or 45-15s (that's 30 sec at V02 max effort, with 30 sec recovery) over 2-5 min reps at the same effort? Assume approximately = time at pace (say about 12 to 20 minutes per session).
Is there viable research that demonstrates which is better?
