Cankies,
OK, feel free to check-in as the year goes on.
Igy
Thought this was an open forum. Didn't realize I needed your permission.
Cankies,
I was referring to vis-a-vis the correctness of our views.
Igy
You remind me of Trump. Condescending and always needs the last word.
Cankies,
Why bring politics into an economic and investment discussion? I would be happy to post scholarly research to show where you are wrong. However, I sense a wasted effort. So go forth with your beliefs. We will see who is right. Feel free to check-in with the Igy.
Igy
Thanks for proving my point. I knew you would.
Cankies,
Some advice, don't try to debate when you can't carry an argument.
Igy
Amazing. So predictable. You are a Trump clone.
Did you seriously refer to yourself as "the Igy"?

Only the stock market hasn't really corrected much.
I think we will see another 8-10% correction before things will improve.
Note the dishonesty of the language used by the financial industry.
A loss is not a loss, it is a correction.
Don't try to time the market as it is losing proposition -- but pay us money and we will time it for you.
These guys make the old snake oil salesman look like noble statesman
Hi, K5! You know no money is lost until you sell, right? You should know that bettering than anyone here.
You have also not MADE any money until you sell. Even dividends you have to net, unless you intend to hold for life and transfer by testamentary instrument. That would be like expensing them, and that's a LONG time to achieve cost recovery, not like a depreciable capital asset.

Don't be angry at the world because your wife has cankles. You're no prize yourself.
Hi, Igy!
Detector,
Not me, though Cankies can't carry an argument without bring Trump into it. I haven't figured what he has to do with S&P earnings or non-GAAP accounting.
Igy
There's no argument. I made the point that you are condescending, insulting, and narcissistic like Trump. Every time you post you prove me right.
Cankies,
Try reading your first post to me and then this latest response. Kind of funny huh?
Igy
I'm sure your clients don't think it's very funny, Mr. Condescending.
Maserati,
Just wait for the insults. On the other hand the Bullish view offers little in the way of facts, rather the hope for a better market, next day, next month or next year. Of course the facts will show the MSCI All Country World Index was down 7.55% over the past year. Corporate earnings continue to decline in spite of stock buybacks, and record debt issuance. The consumer, governments and corporations are clearly debt tapped out. So where is the growth to come from?
Facts are inconvenient to the narrative.
