Yes, yes I did.
Agip's over the top character flaws make him more then predictable.

I'm here if you want to talk, klondike.

well, my thoughts on correcting Klondike's grammar and typing go like this:
He gets everything wrong - he claimed bberg didn't lose anything in the crisis, for example. So would we be distracting him from his main need - to get the facts right - by correcting him all the time on minor grammatical issues? Maybe.
But just in case, here is how he should have written this, to be correct:
"agip's over-the-top character flaws make him more than predictable"
mistake #1: I spell my handle with a lower-case 'a'
mistake #2: 'over the top' modifies 'character flaws' so you have to put in the little dash thingies
mistake #3: as you point out, he should have written 'than' not 'then'
so there you go - classic klondikian anti-precision.
As I said, a short-lived squabble. Looks to be on the mend today, and the market zooms back northward.
The fundamentals today are the same as they were back in June when our OP took money out of the market and the same as they were when he started this thread. Silly to play that in and out game, ESPECIALLY when you don't even give yourself a shred of a chance by taking money OUT when all indicators point to a continuing to improve economy and market.

I understand your point.
My point is not to belittle K5 (or anyone else), but rather to help anyone who is open to being helped.
With that in mind, I suspect that 'agip' is not a name that K5 will use too much outside of this message board. Similarly, 'over-the-top', while it may come up now and again in the real world, is not overly common. On the other hand, the expression 'more than' comes up all the time and someone writing 'more then' sounds like an idiot and will instantly (and unnecessarily) lose credibility with their intended audience. So, it is quite useful to know the difference between 'than' and 'then'.
That's OK, you can just call me Mr. Helpful.
The "in and out" game is a lot of fun. PNSO guys don't remember, I guess.
Bought 3500 shares of Xoom yesterday at 28.9. Sold it today at 32.47. It's been a good day. :)

congratulations - and you are right not to hold long term stocks with onomotopoetic tickers

It is quite amazing how many people are -- or pretend to be -- unaware of the existence of typos.
And Agip -- you take so many words to make a couple of nonsensical and dishonest statements. If it cannot be said in a few lines, don't say it

Here is typical Agip precision (and, sorry Agip, names do begin with capital letters unless your are e.e. cummings --I am sure someone so learned as you will have no need to look him up).
mistake #2: 'over the top' modifies 'character flaws' so you have to put in the little dash thingies.
The little dash thingies? Required only because it "modifies" character flaws. It is an adjective generally written without hyphens (I assume that is what you mean by little sash thingies. It is an adjective (always) and hence not spelled differently depending upon its use.
You really are one stupid f6ck

What do you think the odds are the Dow wuill never again be below 15,000?
How about 14,000? 13,000?
Up 322 points, Dow has biggest gain of the year today.
(And wejo and rojo also start their screen names with a lower case letter in this forum.)

What is even more amazing is that some people get offended when corrected.
There are only two possibilities:
1) You knew the difference between 'then' and 'than' and it was just a typo. In this case, no harm done. No need to respond to the correction.
or
2) You did not know the difference between 'then' and 'than'. Believe it or not there are MANY (like that Flagpolian flourish?) people who do not understand the difference so this is not an unlikely possibility here. If this is the case then you should just thank the person who corrected you as he/she clearly did you a favor.
Actually a thinking person, cognizant of what is knowable and what is not, would genuinely say 'Thanks' in either case.
And only an insecure person would react in a defensive manner.

Hey, a new inaccuracy from you - You are really bad at making stuff up.
I have an IQ of at least 130, went to an Ivy League college, have my own investment management business and am a self made multi-millionaire. I think that means I am not stupid.
As for your grammar error - you are wrong. From the NYT, which to my mind is the best source of grammar checks:
